NEFI und IEA IETS Annex 19
Participation is free of charge.
The worldwide innovation landscape offers an impeccable basis for developing novel solutions in reaching the targeted climate goals. Since numerous research projects for deploying brand new green technologies are well underway, we want to create the opportunity to aim for the next step: Within the NEFI Technology Talks national and international industrial endeavours in the context of selected decarbonisation topics will be brought together, synthesing findings and results and forming synergies to exploit and drive development further.
Within our initial NEFI Technology Talk, industrial flexibility acts as the first key solution for decarbonising the industrial sector in Europe. Here, we form a collaboration with the IEA’s technology collaboration programme IETS to bring international projects and Austrian NEFI projects to the table of discussion.
Focus on national and international endeavours for industrial flexibility in the context of electrification, hydrogen use and further systemic approaches
The Dutch electrification roadmap is designed to help industry make the transition from fossil to renewable electric energy and eliminate CO₂ emissions.
The EFS is a multi-year research project to explore potential widespread electrification in the future energy system of the United States
Management of industrial flexibilities for future redispatch measures
Value of flexibility in the European electricity market
Integration of a steam-generating heat pumps
Optimal operation of a conceptional industrial energy system including a high temperature heat pump, thermal energy storage and wind power
Optimization of demand side management in steel plant
RELEASE targets hydrogen production, hydrocarbon production from CO₂, and flow batteries
System perspective of hydrogen production in connection to district heating
Plenary session with all involved projects and open Q&A from the audience
