30 years of energy future – the 30th anniversary of the OÖ Energiesparverband

The OÖ Energiesparverband, a consortium partner of the NEFI Innovation Network, is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its founding this year. To mark the occasion, a festive event was held on 23 June as part of the international World Sustainable Energy Days conference on the theme ″30 years of energy future″. The event looked back over the last 30 years, but also ventured a look 30 years ahead. 2051 could be the first year in which Europe is climate neutral, hence the motto: 1991 – 2021 – 2051.

Congratulations on the anniversary were given, among others, by EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson from Brussels, who emphasised the pioneering role of the OÖ Energiesparverband far beyond the borders of Upper Austria.
