Incentives and potentials for the provision of flexibility

Industry is a major energy consumer in Austria, and at the same time the self-production of electricity, especially from renewables, is increasingly being expanded.

Industrial companies will have the opportunity to make a major contribution to grid stability in Austria as active participants in the energy system. Flexibilities can be used to economically utilise both surplus and shortfall production of electricity. How this should be designed in the future is being worked out by the consortium of Industry4Redispatch (project link: https://www.nefi.at/en/industry4redispatch/). In particular, the view of the needs and requirements of industrial companies are essential to develop a functioning system and to create incentives for industrial companies.

Therefore, we kindly ask you to participate timely in this survey!
