Recap of the NEFI Technology Talk: Utilisation of Industrial Waste Heat

In many companies, unused heat sources exist that can be harnessed with innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and lower CO₂ emissions.

The NEFI Technology Talk "Industrial Waste Heat Utilisation," organised by OÖ Energiesparverband, showcased opportunities for utilising waste heat within companies—for production processes, space heating and cooling, or water heating.

The event provided 76 participants with an overview of various waste heat sources and their technical applications. A key focus was placed on examples of implemented projects across different industries, as well as information on current funding opportunities.
The NEFI Technology Talks are a series of events addressing current technical and systemic challenges related to the industrial energy transition.
