Infos

Our workshop takes place as part of the IEWT in Vienna and will be conducted in German.

To drive the transformation of industry towards climate neutrality, we need technologies that both promote the integration of renewable energy and ensure grid stability. The flexibility of industrial processes plays a key role in this. In our NEFI Technology Talk/Workshop, you will learn how industrial companies can actively contribute to the provision of redispatch measures through innovative approaches. We will showcase technological and systemic solutions that enable automation processes to create a sustainable alternative to fossil fuel power plants.

The research project Industry4Redispatch offers fascinating insights into how industrial processes can be automated to control electricity flows within the grid and prevent overloads. While these tasks have traditionally been managed manually using conventional power plants, the integration of industrial facilities opens up new, forward-looking possibilities.

In this interactive workshop, we will present the latest findings and invite you to discuss them in small groups. Take advantage of this opportunity to engage with experts from science and industry, gain deeper insights, and develop new ideas for potential follow-up projects.

Here, you can find more information about additional activities, sessions, and workshops at the IEWT.
