Our Goal within the NEFI Technology Talks

The NEFI innovation network pools the extensive experience of experts from science, politics and industry and offers the opportunity to achieve industrial climate protection goals through new technological solutions. Now we want to take one further step: In the course of the NEFI Technology Talks series, national and international efforts in the industrial context and in the context of selected decarbonisation topics will be bundled in order to gain results, findings and experiences and thus drive the development of industrial climate neutrality.

NEFI focuses on the development and demonstration of key technologies ‘Made in Austria’ for the decarbonisation of the industrial energy system. The automotive sector is a pillar of the Austrian industrial landscape in which a high degree of process and product diversity certainly opens up hurdles in the development and implementation of decarbonisation technologies. As part of this Technology Talk, we are tackling this complexity by bringing together national and international players from the industry and jointly designing new developments and projects that will bring the sector closer to achieving climate targets.
